Vintage White Vogue Floral Necktie

I’ll admit that I wasn’t sure what Daddy was talking about when he said it was “Throwback Thursday” but when he came out of the closet I must say I was impressed! My tail started wagging when I saw this bold white tie with a red and black stripe and red and black tropical flowers. He paired it with a nice black dress shirt with french cuffs and gold and red cuff links.

I thought it was funny when Daddy tried to tell Mommy that he was just as “In Vogue” as she was (she’s always stylish!) and then showed her the tag on the tie!

The tie is what I would call a wide tie (it’s at least 4 inches wide) and makes a thick knot with only a Half Windsor knot. It’s 100% polyester. It’s a pretty bold tie from the 60’s.

Vintage Striped Countess Mara

Daddy seems to always go for his striped Countess Mara ties when he’s not sure what to wear. This time it’s a brown, tan, and deep navy striped tie from Eddie Williams Man’s Shop in Arlington, Texas. The tie may date back to the 50s, but believe it or not, The Man’s Shop is still around!

Striped Tie Of The Month Club

Leopards may not change their spots, but a well dressed man like my Daddy will change his stripes on a daily basis. My Daddy may wear a weird pattern one day, and stripes the next, but my Grandpaw wears only striped ties. If you’re like my Grandpaw (or know someone who is) then you’ll love my striped tie of the month club! Each month I’ll dig through Daddy’s closet and pull out another striped tie to send you. Because I’m such a good pup, I’ll even make sure there’s no coffee stains on them!

Each Month you’ll receive another vintage striped tie. I have all sorts of colors and sizes to dig through, so tell me what kind of stripes you like!

The first month you’ll receive an introductory letter welcoming you to the club (or as a gift to the club if it’s a gift).
Ties are non-returnable, and the subscription may not be cancelled once first shipment is mailed.
If you have a special request, let me know and I will do my best to fetch ties meeting those criteria (only blues, no 70s wide ties, make them funky colors, etc…) but I can’t promise. Daddy might wear it the day I’m shipping!
