Brooks Brothers Tie of the Month Club

Daddy taught me that sometimes the best tie is a classic tie from a classic maker. Then he told me that he always liked to reach for a Brooks Brothers tie when he needed a classic, undated look. If you’re a fan of the classic gentleman’s look, then you’ll love my Brooks Brothers tie of the month club! Each month I’ll dig through Daddy’s closet and pull out another Brooks Brothers tie to send you. Because I’m such a good pup, I’ll even make sure there’s no coffee stains on them!

Each Month you’ll receive another vintage Brooks Brothers tie. I have all sorts of colors and patterns houses to dig through, so tell me what kind of fashion you like! I’ve pulled stripes and patterns in all sorts of colors out of Daddy’s closet in the past, so who knows what I’ll fetch for you!

  • The first month you’ll receive an introductory letter welcoming you to the club (or as a gift to the club if it’s a gift).
  • Ties are non-returnable, and the subscription may not be cancelled once first shipment is mailed.
  • If you have a special request, let me know and I will do my best to fetch ties meeting those criteria (only blue tones, no stripes, make is a small repeating pattern, etc…) but I can’t promise. Daddy might wear it the day I’m shipping!

Brooks Brothers Three Month Tie of the Month Club

Super Skinny Yellow 50s Tie

Here’s one of Daddy’s ties that always seems to make the grade. It’s super skinny (1 3/4 inches!) and seems to go well with any shirt he pulls out of the closet.

Pink 1960s Mallory & Church Neck Tie

Real men (like my Daddy) wear pink. So I think that would make this vintage tie by Mallory & Church a real man’s tie because it’s so pink! It’s a great strong (but not hot) pink with a navy hexagonal pattern in it.

Daddy says that all the ladies in his office love it when he wears ties like this (and Momma does too!) so that’s got to make it a really manly tie!

The tie is 56 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide and feels like silk (although it’s not marked). The tie is in really great condition!

I have this one available on my Etsy Shop

Countess Mara Tie of the Month Club

Bob Hope wore Countess Mara ties. Daddy seems to really like the Countess Mara ties. Mommy seems to really like him in them too. So I guess that means they’re really nice ties that make my Daddy even more handsome (or funny)! If you’re like my parents, or Bob Hope, (or know someone who is) then you’ll love my Countess Mara tie of the month club! Each month I’ll dig through Daddy’s closet and pull out another Countess Mara tie to send you. Because I’m such a good pup, I’ll even make sure there’s no coffee stains on them!

Paisley Pure Silk Wembley Tie

Gosh darn it if Daddy didn’t find the box of ties I pulled out to post and decided to wear this one! That’s OK though, he didn’t stain it and I’ve already fetched it back to my storage box. I guess I’m going to have to bury his ties better!

"Pure Silk" Wembley Paisley Tie
“Pure Silk” Wembley Paisley Tie

This is a vintage brown Wembley “Pure Silk” tie and it has small maroon and light blue paisleys all over it. It looked pretty good with the blue window pane shirt my Daddy picked out, but I’ll bet you’ve got a better shirt for it!

Bow Ties are Cool

Daddy wore this one a few days ago and I’ve only just now posted the pictures since I was so busy digging through Daddy’s ties (I told you he had a lot!) and barking at squirrels.

It’s a yellow vintage Vicky Davis bow tie. And yes, Daddy tied it all by himself! He keeps trying to teach me how to do it, but I think I’m going to have to ask him to buy me a clip on bow tie instead. My paws just don’t want to work.

Goool!

To celebrate the start of World Cup my Daddy wore a very appropriate tie! It had Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Pig Pen, and Linus all playing soccer on it. Sorry, I meant to say football!

This outfit scores a goal in my book! Goooool!

Personally I think that the tie went really well with the with with light blue stripe shirt, brown slacks, and navy blazer he wore. Of course, he had to wear a hat too.

The Rolls-Royce of Vintage Ties

My Daddy is a car buff, so I’m guessing that’s why he has this tie. He tried to wear it to work today with his light yellow Pierre Cardin dress shirt and complained that it was too short for his outfit (he didn’t have a jacket to cover the gap). I don’t know what his complaint is, since it’s too big for me! Of course, when he left for work I immediately buried it in my bed* to post it on my Tie Club.

I don't think it's too short!

Of course, he’s only ever taken me for a car ride in his Smart Car, so if he really does have a Rolls-Royce he’s holding out on me! So I’m offering this one for sale on my Tie Club. Or I’ll really trade it for a ride in your Rolls-Royce! (You just might have to let my Daddy ride too…)

*Don’t worry. I didn’t really bury it. It’s been cleaned and is ready to wear. I haven’t licked it once since it was cleaned…

High Fashion Tie of the Month Club

Daddy learned a lot about the fashion world from Momma, and that’s a good thing because my Momma is a really fashionable lady! If you’re fashion forward with and eye for vintage designs like my Momma is, then you’ll love my high fashion tie of the month club! Each month I’ll dig through Daddy’s closet and pull out another striped tie to send you. Because I’m such a good pup, I’ll even make sure there’s no coffee stains on them!

Each Month you’ll receive another vintage high fashion tie. I have all sorts of colors and fashion houses to dig through, so tell me what kind of fashion you like! I’ve pulled Christian Dior, Pierre Cardin, Countess Mara, Mila Schön. Calvin Klein, and Hugo Boss out of Daddy’s closet in the past, so who knows what I’ll fetch for you!

I have lots of high fashion ties available for this Tie Club! (Well, OK, Daddy does...)

I have both 3 and 6 Month High Fashion Tie Clubs available:

Oleg Cassini Ties

These ties by Oleg Cassini are pretty neat, and I had to borrow Daddy’s computer to find out more about just who Mr. Cassini was. It turns out he was even more famous than I thought since he did costume design in the 1940s for Paramount Pictures (and a lot of the movies that Mommy likes) and later was known as the “Courtier to Camelot” with his collaboration with Jackie Kennedy giving us the now timeless “Jackie O” look. He also designed the wardrobe for Johnny Carson on his show and subsequent “Johnny Carson” line of clothing for men. What really made me like him was that he was a champion of animals and created his “Evolutionary Fur” for his fashion.

These ties are all available at my Etsy Store, Rusty’s Tie Club
